Hi there!

I am Marina Carmen,  

I help ESL Learners become   Confident Speakers of English, the World Language.

 I am an English Teacher, having:

  • 7 years of multinational corporate work experience in Romania, (English was the main communication language of business)
  • 9 years of English Teaching in Private Colleges in a foreign country – Turkey 
  • 2 years of Freelance Online English Teaching

In my English Lessons  I combine Teaching Styles, Methods and Approaches that make you enjoy Your English Learning Journey and help you make constant progress.

 

Little did I know…

… that I was to discover my LOVE for TEACHING and MENTORING in a country I wouldn’t even think to visit, let alone starting a new life in (Turkey).

But life has its own challenges and opportunities which I am grateful to have fully embraced against all fears.

As a young student at the Faculty of Letters in Romania, I was in love with the subjects studied but in my 2nd year of study, I felt the urge to become financially independent. Thus I moved from my hometown to the Capital and started the adult and corporation life journey.

While I was constantly climbing the corporation ladder  I continued my studies and successfully graduated from the Faculty of Letters and a 2-year Management & Marketing Master.

I’ve always  been driven by the desire to find solutions and took pride in the results of my own work.

The 7 years of corporate life fit me on the outside like a glove.

I was learning and growing at a young age. 

I enjoyed the status and financial privileges offered, loved the structure and the system international companies provide for their employees.

But something was missing…I never identified with the vision of the two corporations I worked for. Loved the systems, the training received from the mentors I was blessed to meet…but always feeling a void in my heart which I couldn’t identify at that moment!

My heart was longing for a different kind of human interaction. For a more purposeful and meaningful work.  

Later on …I learned! It was the desire to teach, to inspire, to to help develop the people I was interacting with –  my Students.
